"A safe place to go... that only you know"

Key reasons people invest in safes:
-> Keeping valuables/sentimental items safe from loss/damage.
-> Protect important documents - i.e. passports/plane tickets.
-> Realise not all trusted people are "trustworthy".

Statistics suggest that it's often the 'friends', work-men (etc) who we allow into our home that remove valuable items. Trust can be an enemy.

What type of safes are available?

  • Key Safes: If leaving keys "under the flowerpot" worries you, try this instead.

  • Cash safes: A little mad money . is sensible. Make sure it's there when you need it.

  • Laptop safes: bring your work laptop home? In a knowledge economy, data is as valuable to a thief as your jewels or wallet. Make sure your laptop isn't vulnerable.
    • In The News... Does your laptop join you for lunch?
      "Business premises in the Capital [London] are being targeted for laptop theft. Police have identified that workers leave their laptops unattended during lunch hours, meaning "lifting a laptop" is easy for thieves in a big, impersonal office."
    • Laptop safes are an excellent way to make sure you're not a victim of 'laptop lifting'. Whilst they're convenient (installed under desk), security is maintained.
    • Bolted into the ground and internal hinges, even a trained locksmith would take 30 minutes to open these safes; by which time you would have finished lunch.

  • Boot safes: Unique to the Security Centre: our Boot Safe range. Cars are easy targets for thieves. "Possessions left at owners' risk" -> "Possessions secured by owner".
    • In The News... Travelling salesman for Rolex loses £500,000 of original stock.
      "The representative was followed after travelling home from a convention. The thief saw the rep load items into the boot of his car following the show. The rep stopped at a petrol station for fuel, and whilst paying the boot was accessed from the back seat and items stolen. ... Police reporting at the scene of the crime said this was a clever opportunist 'smash and grab'."
    • Car safes hold valuables (TomTom, Laptops, Rolex Watches?) that you can't carry on your person. All Boot Safes are permanently fixed to the car, making 'quick theft' impossible.

  • Under-floor Safes: For home or office. Encase in concrete for maximum protection.
    • New-build managers: how many of your clients are worried about their possessions? Show you care (and stand out) by installing our under-floor safes as standard in your projects.

  • Digital Combination Safes: Stay in control.
    • keys can get lost or stolen.
    • Combinations can be remembered and, if necessary, changed.

  • Fire Cabinets: CD/DVD media loses data at over 50oC. Paper deteriorates at over 170oC. Media Cabinets or Paper cabinets keep your valuables safe for up to 2 hours, long after the fire brigade has arrived.

  • Portable Document Protection: Similar to Fire cabinets, but moveable/mobile.
